Manna House, which is located at 1012 First Avenue, serves Dodge City residents in need with temporary shelter and food. This past summer, Manna House had to close its doors for three days because the food pantry ran out of supplies.

“I am in absolute awe of all of the food that is coming in from Boot Hill Casino & Resort. We care for others in the community that don’t have and we’re very grateful that everybody has a giving heart. I just hope that God will bless them like they’ve blessed us,” said Laura Koehn, Director of the Manna House.

“Manna House is a wonderful organization helping people in need all year long. We wanted to give back this holiday season locally,” said Sharon Stroburg, General Manager of Boot Hill Casino & Resort. “We’re excited to announce our plans to continue and grow our collections for local charities through December.  Beginning December 1st, we will be collecting food and toys from both Boot Hill Casino &
Resort Team Members and our customers to distribute to local charities in need.”

From December 1 – 23, Boot Hill Casino & Resort is giving $10 in free play for every person who donates a minimum of five canned goods or an unwrapped, unopened toy valued at least $7 to our food and toy drive. Donations will be distributed to charities in the Dodge City area. Limit one redemption per person, per day. Must be 21 to enter.
